RITA McCARTHY for RUSH TOWN BOARD


Rita is honored to serve as a town board member in the Town of Rush. During her tenure, she has done her utmost to engage with residents and make decisions based on what is good for the town as a whole. Rita was liaison to the Renewable Energy Citizens Committee during their tenure and was a member of the steering committee for the very successful Rush Design Charrette Day, which occurred this past June. Rita is currently the liaison to the Rush Public Library Board of Trustees and sits on the Rush Bicentennial Committee.

 
Rita and her family have been residents of the town of Rush for nearly 13 years.  Rita received her Associates Degree from Monroe Community College and studied Biology at SUNY Oswego. She is currently working on a management degree at RIT. Rita is employed in the Dean’s Office of the Golisano College of Computing and Information Sciences. She and her husband Tim enjoy biking the Lehigh Valley Trail and volunteering in their church and community. She can be reached at 533-1312 or rita@townofrush.com.
